Download Evaluation Edition
You can download a fully functional evaluation version of The Survey System. Its only limitation is a restriction on the amount of data you can use at one time. It allows answers from up to 20 people in a Data File. The full editions allow an unlimited number. The Evaluation Edition also limits individual surveys to no more than 10 questions. The full editions allow thousands of questions.
These files are compressed using .ZIP format. You can uncompress them using PKUNZIP (a command line program), WINZIP, 7-Zip and other products. Put the uncompressed Setup files into a temporary folder on your PC. Then run SETUP.EXE in that folder.

When uncompressed, the Tutorial becomes a PDF file. You need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to use this file. If you do not already have it, it is available as a free download.
You can test Web page surveys and reports on our www.surveydemo.com site, without downloading our Web Survey Server Files. If you want to test Web surveys on your own server or PC, please see the "Uploading the Survey and Report Servers" Help topic after you install The Survey System.
If you want to test the Voice Capture features, you need to download and unzip the Voice Capture Support Files. Then run SetupVC.exe.
To install the PDA Survey software copy the file to your PDA and tap on it in File Explorer. PDAs must use Windows Mobile (aka Pocket Windows, Windows CE). PDAs that use Pocket Windows 2002 or earlier may need Microsoft support files (14.7MB - run on your PC while your PDA is connected via ActiveSync). PDAs with Windows Mobile or Pocket Windows 2003 or later already have these files.
